Two in one day - the update

For those of you silently following this...my mad cousin has made contact. They were flooded but not as badly as some places. They are all there. I should be thankful. I am not. I am angry. They should be heading home. They will just get in the way of the clean up effort and the risk to their health has just increased dramatically.

At least they are safe, but the worry continues.

One of the micro-aid workers I work with has said they should leave - that they will be more of a hindrance than a help now more than ever. I couldn't agree more!
At least my father is looking a bit happier!

Phewsh! Been thinking a lot about them, and reminded of their peril with the tsunami that hit American Samoa today (and when it looked like it would hit NZ). Hope they return home soon. Pleased your dad's happier.

Thanks for being concerned. I wondered about you when I had the news about Samoa today. I've been told it was bad but they also believe it could have been far, far worse. NZ is really not so far from all of that!
