It is with immense sadness

I have to tell you that our greatly loved father, (aka known as the Senior Cat) left us at around 6:15 this morning. He was not comfortable so we are trying to be grateful that he is no longer in pain.

I am also very grateful I was able to spend about an hour with him yesterday.

Ninety-nine years is a very long time to be here and we are very fortunate to have had him for so long.

What a wonderful man he was and how I have enjoyed "meeting" him on your blog. You all have taken such good care of him at the end of his time and I know you will have a hole in your life from now on, but you have a million memories to keep you close to him. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Oh, Cat. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Fifteen years on, I still miss Daddy but the memories I have are wonderful. I know your memories are just as wonderful.

I am so sorry, Cat. I wish Senior Cat had 9 lives instead of one and could spend them all with you and your family.

Much love from Big Sister Cat (Melodye)

Late condolences. Just seeing these posts because work is crazy. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that your time with him at the end helps your grief. The pandemic has caused a lot of us pain in these times of family deaths. I couldn’t attend my mothers memorial because it was a long way away and I couldn’t take the time off work to drive back and forth and certainly wasn’t flying

I too enjoyed meeting him on your posts. My prayers for you and your family.
